Let's say: now is English turn. Forgive me all my mistakes, hope it doesn't matter for you....I just love languages, that's it. Moreover, what is really important - I should have started with that - my don't-speak-polish friends can read my blog as well! Additionally, I am again a bit active on couchsurfing right now, so I am forced to use English anyway...and can't do it in any other situation. Let me try it here as well.
I have enjoyed my true summer weekend, full of sun, with the holiday atmosphere: laziness, relax.......
I have had the opportunity to participate in Lange Nacht der Kultur (The Long Night of Culture) in Meißen (thanks to the invitation of Kathrin).
We started with guided tour in the theatre, which was a bit like a journey in time, to my childhood, remembering the several times I was on the stage or offstage. But it wasn't really the highlight of the evening. This came later, with the guided walk through the city. It was fantastic. A women which was talking in the old German dialect about the past. The school pupils from local school playing legends in the costums, with a lot of talent - with all their hearts! It was a great entertainment, and although it was so hot we didn't feel a bit tired! After that we climbed the tower of the cathedral. Walking between gothic columns in the high we enjoyed the gorgeous view of the valley of Elbe.....Magnificent! The light of late afternoon, wonderfull architecture in so close experience, own heart beating fast because of the effort.......
The piano concert, the gospel concert, another tower climbing - when it was already dark - and watching the hill with the castle and cathedral lightened very nicely with sounds of cuba rythms played in the market.........Sounds like too much for one evening :)
On Sunday in contrary we just had one big attracion: water and sun, sun and water, water and sun........Which by this waether was maybe as pleasant as all cultural events from the Saturday evening :)
So the whole day I was lying in the sun - in the water or on the grass..........
I wish I could spend all the heat days this way......
